BINUS University 1st President Forum

Jakarta, 24 October 2016—In order to celebrate its 35^th Founding Anniversary of BINUS University and BINUS NUSANTARA Group, BINUS was held The Presidents’ Forum with theme “Transformations and Innovations of Higher Education as Enabler of Acceleration of Start-ups’ Growth” will regroup Rectors, Presidents, CEOs, and top management of BINUS’ main partners from the industry, universities, community and government under the theme “Innovations and Transformation of Higher Education”.

Through the launching of the new initiative will invite each partner to sign the Declaration committing each of us to a common project aiming for the launching of 200 start-ups by 2020.

Through the project expected that to develop a global network aiming to develop and support such as (Creativity (though creative project, multi-disciplinary classroom), Lecturers as facilitators and mentors; Entrepreneurial framework (Curriculum, Ecosystem, Sustainable platform); Industry and local communities (Mentors and coaches, Funding, Strategic Alliances); Scale-up incubators (Exchanging mentors, researchers, students and resources, Sharing Networks). Therefore in this President Forum, participants from industries, start-up companies, national and international institutions and governments.

On the occasion, Susanto Djaja, President Director of Metrodata Group took part in the event thru the signing of the Declaration that stated TOGETHER, we foster innovative and entrepreneurial skills and talents to nurture youth leadership.
