Dell Underscores Vision for the Future-Ready Enterprise at Dell User Forum 2015 in Indonesia

JAKARTA, September 16, 2015 –Dell User Forum (DUF) Indonesia which commences today at Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta will put a focus on strategies for the future-ready-enterprise. The two-day event will see keynotes by Dell global and regional business leaders discussing the exponential change in the technology industry and how Dell is helping customers tackle business challenges of the future.

Attended by over 1,500 participants from across Dell’s South Asian markets, the event presents an opportunity for customers and partners to hear from Dell’s executives, engineers and architects on the company’s comprehensive approach to helping enterprises achieve IT agility and scalability. Topics that will be discussed at the event include the future of the data center in the digital economy, trends around software-defined everything as well as client solutions for the modern workforce.

In addition, Alan Atkinson, Vice President & General Manager of Dell Storage, shares Dell’s software-defined strategy, with a focus on its impact on the storage business. This strategy includes partnerships with leading providers such as Microsoft, Nexenta, RedHat, Cloudera, Nutanix and VMware, to provide products and solutions that can help them bridge the IT gap between traditional and new application requirements in their data centers. Initially announced at Dell World 2014, Dell and its partners have launched a host of future-ready IT solutions, including new converged infrastructure architecture, storage solutions, and workload-specific appliances, helping customers worldwide transform their data centers, capture cost savings and ensure competitive advantage.

The Dell User Forum this year is held in Jakarta in partnership with Metrodata, Dell’s strategic partner and one of the biggest IT distributors in Indonesia.
