FMI, MII, and HP Launch SecBox, an Integrated Cybersecurity Monitoring Solution for Organizations in Indonesia

Strengthening centralized visibility, monitoring, and cyber threat response

May 21, 2026, Jakarta, Indonesia — PT FPT Metrodata Indonesia (“FMI”), a subsidiary of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (“Metrodata”) focusing on cybersecurity services and solutions, today officially launched SecBox together with HP Indonesia (“HP”). SecBox is an integrated cybersecurity monitoring solution designed to help organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), strengthen their digital security operations in a simpler, centralized and efficient manner.

To deliver SecBox to customers, FMI collaborates with PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika (MII), Metrodata’s solutions and systems integration subsidiary, leveraging MII’s systems integration expertise to support implementation. This collaboration reflects Metrodata’s ecosystem approach, bringing together business units and strategic partners to deliver digital security solutions.

HP supports the SecBox collaboration through HP Wolf Security, bringing endpoint protection capabilities designed to strengthen cyber-resilience across the devices employees use every day. HP Wolf Security takes a full‑stack approach, starting at the hardware level and extending across software and services, to help reduce alerts and remediation effort for IT teams, while improving security resilience at scale. This contribution aligns with HP’s public commitment to advancing security for the Future of Work, helping organizations protect devices and data so teams can work with greater confidence.

The launch of SecBox comes amid the increasing rise of cyber threats and the growing need for more proactive and integrated security systems. In fact, Indonesia’s National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) reported more than 1.52 billion cyber incidents between January and mid-April this year alone. At the same time, many organizations continue to face challenges in managing multiple disconnected security tools, limited cybersecurity resources, and the high cost of independently building a Security Operations Center (SOC).

Various global industry studies indicate that cyber threats and the operational impact caused by digital security incidents have continued to increase over the past few years. This condition is driving organizations to adopt security solutions capable of delivering comprehensive visibility, faster threat detection, and continuous security monitoring to ensure business continuity.

To address these challenges, SecBox adopts a unified security operations approach by integrating multiple security capabilities into a centralized platform, ranging from Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM/XDR, threat monitoring, and log analytics, to 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring services.

In addition to helping organizations simplify security management that was previously spread across multiple systems and dashboards, SecBox is also designed to accelerate the detection, investigation, and response process against cyber threats in a more proactive manner. The solution enables organizations to gain more integrated security visibility without the need to build complex and costly SOC infrastructure.

“Digital transformation must be accompanied by adequate cybersecurity readiness. However, many organizations still face challenges related to cost, resources, and the complexity of security implementation. Through SecBox, we are not merely launching a product, we are building confidence that every organization in Indonesia, regardless of its scale, deserves resilient digital security. This is our long-term commitment,” said Edwin Putraoetama Octosa, President Director, PT FPT Metrodata Indonesia.

“Cybersecurity is now a critical priority for organizations of every size, especially as AI-enabled threats make attacks faster and harder to detect. For SMEs, a single incident can have serious financial consequences, yet many businesses don’t have the dedicated people or tools to manage cybersecurity on their own. Through our collaboration with FMI and MII, HP aims to make stronger endpoint protection more accessible and easier to manage for businesses in Indonesia, helping them stay resilient, protect productivity, and move forward in their digital transformation with greater confidence,” said Juliana Cen, President Director, HP Indonesia.

Designed with a flexible and efficient architecture, SecBox enables faster implementation and can be tailored to the specific needs and security maturity levels of each organization. The solution also helps organizations support compliance with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) through more centralized security monitoring and management.

Susanto Djaja, President Director of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk emphasized, “Cybersecurity has now become an essential part of corporate business strategy amid the continuously evolving digital threat landscape. Through the synergy between FMI, MII, and HP, we aim to deliver security solutions that are more relevant, scalable, and capable of supporting organizations across various industries. This collaboration also reflects Metrodata’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s national digital ecosystem through sustainable innovation and technological capabilities.”

Through the launch of SecBox, MII reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its positioning as a solution enabler in the cybersecurity landscape through security solutions that are more accessible, enterprise-ready, and aligned with organizations’ needs in the digital transformation era. The presence of SecBox is also expected to increase market awareness while opening broader cybersecurity business opportunities across various industries in Indonesia.
