Metrodata Solution Day 2026 Drives Organizations to Turn AI Investment into Measurable Business Value

Marking its 21st edition, PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk once again presents Metrodata Solution Day (MSD) 2026.

Jakarta, 20 August 2026 — Marking its 21st edition, PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (“Metrodata”) once again presents Metrodata Solution Day (MSD) 2026 under the theme Winning with AI: Build, Run, and Scale for Measurable Impact, reflecting the shift in organizational focus in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI). Organizations are no longer focused solely on technology implementation, but on how AI can accelerate tangible and measurable business and operational value.

This shift is also reflected in the IDC Info Snapshot From AI Spending to AI Value Creation, developed together with Metrodata and released to coincide with Metrodata Solution Day 2026. In the report, IDC notes that 56.7% of organizations in Indonesia plan to raise their GenAI budgets by more than 50%, nearly double the Asia/Pacific average of 29.8%. However, overall AI maturity among organizations in Indonesia stands at only 2.03 on a scale of 5, still below both the Asia/Pacific and global averages. This gap between rising investment and the level of implementation maturity is one of the key drivers behind the theme of Metrodata Solution Day 2026 this year, while also signaling substantial room for growth for organizations ready to convert AI into real, measurable business impact.

Through this forum, Metrodata brings together business leaders, technology practitioners, and global technology partners to discuss how organizations can build a strong foundation, manage AI implementation in a controlled manner, and consistently scale AI adoption, in line with the subtheme Accelerating AI for Real Business and Operational Value.

"We have moved beyond the stage where adoption is the measure of progress. Indonesia has already demonstrated that, becoming one of the markets with the highest AI adoption rates in the region. What matters now is the value created, not how quickly the technology is adopted. This is about leadership. Organizations need discipline, governance, and accountability in every AI investment they make. Through this year's Metrodata Solution Day, we invite organizations to measure themselves not by the speed of adoption, but by the real impact they are able to create," said Susanto Djaja, President Director, PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk.

This perspective serves as the foundation for Metrodata's Build, Run, and Scale theme, which represents the key stages of AI implementation within an enterprise environment. Build focuses on organizational readiness, ranging from data and architecture to identifying use cases that align with business priorities. Run discusses how AI implementation is managed through governance, security, operations, and appropriate measurement to ensure consistent execution. Meanwhile, Scale highlights how organizations can expand AI adoption across various business functions to improve productivity, accelerate decision-making, and create greater value for the company.

As the 21st edition, MSD 2026 will feature more than 30 global technology partners through keynote sessions, executive discussions, and various track sessions covering AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, modern infrastructure, and enterprise applications. The forum is designed as a platform for collaboration where industry players can exchange insights, share implementation experiences, and discuss the challenges and opportunities in leveraging technology across various sectors.

Complementing these discussions, Metrodata's global technology partners also shared their perspectives on the evolution of AI across industries and the approaches they are taking to help organizations create sustainable business value through AI implementation.

"The conversation around AI is no longer about access to technology. It is about execution. Organizations that succeed will be those that can embed AI into the daily work of their people, govern it responsibly, and scale it across the enterprise. Microsoft is working with customers across Indonesia to help bridge the gap between AI experimentation and measurable business value. Together with Metrodata, we are enabling organizations to build the right foundation, accelerate adoption, and realize meaningful impact from their AI investments," said Gunawan Susanto, Country General Manager, Microsoft Indonesia.

Winning in the Agentic Era requires moving past isolated pilots and embedding intelligent AI agents directly into daily enterprise operations. Together with Metrodata, we are delivering the trusted foundation and open AI stack that Indonesian businesses need to innovate rapidly and execute at scale,” said Karim Siregar, Country Director, Google Cloud Indonesia.

Sherlie Karnidta, Country Manager Indonesia, Cloudera, said: “We are pleased to participate in solution day again this year and continue our partnership with Metrodata to deliver value to our enterprise clients. Many Indonesian organizations are making significant investments in AI, yet still lack full control and governance over their own data when it is distributed across multiple environments. Working with partners like Metrodata strengthens our commitment to helping Indonesian organizations build, run, and scale AI with confidence. Our shared goal is to ensure that customers’ AI investments deliver measurable business outcomes and long-term value.”

“AI becomes valuable to Indonesian businesses when it can understand the business context behind a decision, not simply generate an answer. Anaplan brings AI directly into enterprise planning, with CoModeler helping teams build and optimize models, Anaplan Analyst turning planning data and scenarios into actionable insights, and Agent Studio providing the governance to deploy these capabilities at scale. The result is a more intelligent planning environment where leaders can test the financial and operational impact of decisions before acting, respond faster to changing conditions, and turn AI investment into measurable business outcomes,” said Astri Anindita, Regional Vice President, Anaplan.

“As organizations in Indonesia shift their focus from AI experimentation to driving measurable business value, the need for an open, flexible, and secure hybrid cloud foundation is critical. Turning AI investments into tangible outcomes requires the ability to deploy and scale AI workloads seamlessly across diverse IT environments without vendor lock-in. Through our long-standing collaboration with Metrodata, Red Hat is committed to empowering enterprise leaders to build, run, and scale their AI initiatives with robust governance, agility, and open source innovation,“ said Vony Tjiu, Country Manager, Red Hat Indonesia.

“We are proud to collaborate with Metrodata to drive enterprise AI success in Indonesia. AI leaders will be those organizations that move beyond experimenting with AI and start applying it to workflows that drive real business outcomes. Today, intelligence is abundant, but the context and trust to turn that intelligence into reliable work are still scarce. Salesforce's unified platform brings together the data, workflows, governance, and guardrails needed for AI agents to deliver tangible and trusted business outcomes with confidence,” said Pravar Gautam, Vice President, Alliances & Channels, ASEAN at Salesforce.

Frontier AI models enable attackers to weaponise vulnerabilities into coordinated, machine-speed attacks. Defense must operate at that same speed to reduce exposure and contain threats in real time. AI is accelerating cyber threats just as fast as it’s transforming business. Securing AI isn’t about bolting on another tool, it’s about taking a unified platform approach to cybersecurity,” said Arthur Siahaan, Solutions Consulting Manager, Palo Alto Networks.

Through Metrodata Solution Day 2026, Metrodata continues to strengthen collaboration with the global technology ecosystem to help organizations transform AI investments into tangible, measurable, and sustainable business value.
