MTDL Consistently Maintains Revenue and Profit Growth in Q1 – 2025

Exactly 50 Years Old, MTDL Continues to Innovate in the Technology Industry

Jakarta, April 29th 2025 — As the largest technology company in Indonesia, PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) with 50 years of business experience, providing the most comprehensive range of IT and telecommunications products, running digital solutions & consulting, and ICT distribution, consistently maintains growth in revenue and profit. In the first quarter of 2025, the Company recorded revenue of IDR 5.5 trillion in the first quarter of 2025, growing 9.2% YoY.

From this revenue, MTDL managed to record a net profit of IDR 153.7, an increase of 4.3% compared to the net profit in the first quarter of the previous year.

This revenue growth was not achieved without challenges. Within the distribution business unit, certain segments—particularly Notebooks and PCs—have experienced a decline in demand. However, thanks to the Company’s successful diversification of products and business segments, the distribution business as a whole continues to grow, even amid these headwinds.

On the smartphone side, sales during this period were recorded to have increased by 50%. This growth reflects the continued positive trend in the smartphone market, supported not only by strong performance from existing brands but also by MTDL’s recent appointment as the distributor for a new mobile phone brand.

The distribution business's ability to continue to grow has become increasingly solid with increasingly reliable logistics capabilities. In this regard, MTDL has inaugurated the expansion of the second phase of the Warehouse covering an area of 18,000 m2 which adds 82% to the current capacity.

Meanwhile, the digital consulting solutions business unit recorded revenue of IDR 1.5 trillion. Despite government budget cuts this year and the risk of a weakening Rupiah, the business unit's revenue grew 4.1% YoY.

The growth in revenue from the digital consulting solution business sector was supported by, among others, the continued increase in the portion of subscription businesses which made recurring revenue from the previous year maintainable. In addition, revenue from increased sales of Cloud, Digital business platforms, Business Applications, and Cyber security also became drivers for the Company's digital consulting solution business revenue.
