Jakarta, February 19th 2023 — PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) a digital information and communication technology (ICT) issuer, especially in the fields of solutions, digital consulting and digital distribution, which is the largest ICT sector listed company in Indonesia in terms of sales with more than 40 years of experience, is optimistic that it will be able to achieve revenues of around IDR 25 trillion by the end of 2024 in line with the digital transformation towards the industrial era 4.0 which is being carried out by many companies in Indonesia.

"As the election period winds down, we see better economic and business growth prospects for 2024. This is reflected in the movement of the Distribution unit business for the Consumer segment which is starting to recover while the Distribution unit business for the Commercial segment, and Also the Solutions & Consulting unit business continues to increase due to the encouragement that comes from the digital transformation process of companies in Indonesia. We are optimistic that in 2024 more and more companies will need Metrodata Group's services in carrying out digital transformation towards Industry 4.0," said Susanto Djaja, President Director of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk.

The industrial era 4.0 is an era of integration of the online world and production lines in industry. In this era all production processes run with the internet as the main support, which has led to an increase in demand for hardware, software and system integration services to ensure these products can be implemented by businesses, which is offered by MTDL as a complete solution for ICT needs.

Of course, the technology that accompanies the implementation towards Industry 4.0 also includes the Internet of Things (IoT), in addition to artificial intelligence (AI). Apart from that, there is also the application of cloud computing with capable multi-layer cyber security, based on collaboration between world-class IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology). The digital transformation needs of business people are also still very broad for areas such as Business Applications (ERP), digital business platforms (API), and other development projects.

In fact, recently MTDL has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with FPT Information Systems (FPT IS), a leading company in digital transformation in Vietnam. This memorandum aims to explore the possibility of synergizing in developing world-class digital transformation solutions, supported by Cloud, Data and Artificial Intelligence solutions, in order to capture Indonesia's growing digital opportunities.

In this collaboration, Metrodata and FPT will jointly focus on promoting Artificial Intelligence-based applications to increase productivity and accelerate progress towards achieving the goals of 'Indonesia Vision 2045'. "This strategic action is in line with our commitment to make technology an engine of growth and a beacon for Indonesia's sustainable digital economic development," said Susanto.

He also added, "We can clearly see that Indonesia's digital economy offers many opportunities and prospects, with a projection of reaching USD 1.5 trillion, accounting for 14% of GDP. Especially, Cloud infrastructure and opportunities related to Artificial Intelligence are expected to double every five years "Indonesia's digital competitiveness has increased drastically over the years, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing an opportunity for technology companies such as FPT IS and Metrodata to contribute to accelerating economic recovery."

"Therefore, MTDL is optimistic that it will be able to achieve revenue growth of around IDR 25 trillion this year due to the high need for digital transformation in Indonesia," said Susanto while closing his press release.
