MTDL Optimistic About Indonesia Digital Transformation Continued Growth

MTDL Appointed by 10 Partners Within Past Few Months

Jakarta, March 1, 2022 - PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (‘MTDL’), an Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) issuer in the field of digital solutions and hardware and software distribution, is optimistic that digital transformation in Indonesia will continue to increase. This year MTDL sees a bright prospect by being appointed by various global partners to establish cooperation, which is around 10 global partners in just the last three months. MTDL through its two business units, namely Digital Distribution Business and Digital Solutions & Consulting Business, continues to add ICT products and solutions with global partners in order to accelerate digital transformation and continue to improve performance.

Especially the performance of the two MTDL business units which continue to get a lot of demand in line with the community’s need for ICT products and solutions for digitization purposes. We continue to be chosen by various global partners as their partners to sell and market ICT products and solutions in Indonesia. This is in line with one of our new missions, which is to bring innovative digital transformation solutions to our customers and business partners.”

 

MTDL has more than 5,200 channel partners, as well as more than 100 world-class IT product and service brands. MTDL already has connections spread throughout Indonesia. This enables MTDL to maintain its appointment as official distributor of various channel partners. For example, recently MTDL has been chosen by Anaplan as its partner to launch a Cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). MTDL was also appointed as a Strategic Collaboration Partner by AWS to provide Cloud solutions for organizations in Indonesia.

 

Through its subsidiary PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia (SMI), MTDL was also selected as an Official Apacer Distributor to market its products in the consumer & professional, memory, flash & component segments, including high-end gaming. Then, Signify was selected as a Certified System Integrator (CSI) to sell and install IoT-based lighting solutions, solar-based street lighting solutions, and so on. SMI also adds products with new innovations with virtualization technology with Intel IDNUC. Also, appointed by several other partners as Authorized Distributors such as, Infoblox, BDCOM, and Versa Networks.

 

MTDL in the Digital Solutions & Consulting business unit, through its subsidiary PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika (MII), was recently appointed by Trend Micro as the first partner to implement Managed Extended Detection & Response in Indonesia. It consists of cybersecurity solutions that typically attack email and corporate cloud infrastructure. In addition, MII and SMI were also appointed as TigerGraph’s first partner in Indonesia for Graph Analytic solutions and implementation to support digital talent.

 

Seeing this, MTDL is optimistic that it will continue to be appointed by various global partnerships in line with the new direction of MTDL’s vision and mission for digital transformation in Indonesia. MTDL also actively contributes by investing in start-ups as an effort to help accelerate digitization in Indonesia. “On the other hand, MTDL will continue to strengthen recurring income in the Solutions and Consulting business unit which is expected to reach 50% in the next 2 years. We believe that this strategy can also be one of the contributions to the growth of MTDL’s performance,” explained Randy Kartadinata as Director of MTDL.
