Soltius Participation In DC 5 Grand Launching

The Grand Launching of DC5 Data center was successfully held, at Fairmont Hotel ballroom 1 & 2, Senayan Jakarta on June 3rd 2015.

It took  “Leveraging Data Center & Cloud Solution for Business Sustainability” to give message to the market that cloud solution brings a susteainable value to the business.

In his opening speech, Chandra Liemantika, the Director of Velo Networks, explained the background of their decision to bring DC5 as their cloud solution to Indonesia. Start from survey to 300 respondents scattered around Indonesia about problems by using data center and solutions of the problems. DC5 start to Minimized problems based on survey. DC5 is data center solution provider supported by professional experienced in IT Corporate Market and enable to arrange operation system data center including providing enterprise hosted application such as enterprise resources planning, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chains application and office and intranet/application. One of problem that DC5 solve is big corporation will grow bigger and makes complexity of data, so data center needs to be developed too. “now everybody can used data center” Chandra says. The benefits of using DC5 are: secure, solution, scalable, selection, and service.

Continuing the event with keynote speech by Ishak Surjana, Head of IT Corporate of PT Eagle High Plantations. PT Eagle High Plantations (EHPT) is palm plantation corporation where business activities they do are developing, cultivating, harvesting fresh fruit bunches and extracting crude palm oil and palm kernels. Because of the process is complex and each process has to be into a system (machine, crew, material, activities etc) so EHPT realize they need IT solutions to help to integrate all the process and business activities. Ishak says, isn’t easy to start something new, but EHPT tries to prepare themselves for changing themselves into the better selves. In 2007, EHPT decided to used system application and product in data processing (SAP). Ishak mentioned, after using SAP, business process are easier to watch and easy to analyze in business activity, that allow EHTP to works better and more consistent. In question and ask session, where there is an audience asked Ishak about who’s their SAP Partner . Ishak straightly answers, PT Soltius Indonesia (SOLTIUS).

On this event, SOLTIUS got chance to open a booth also bring seminar titled “Cloud Solutions from SAP” by Danny Kasanto, SOLTIUS Consulting Manager . Danny starts his speech by introducing SOLTIUS. Danny also explains, SAP Managed Cloud as Service (McaaS) usage with cloud help business activity process, which means client no worried for IT problem. SAP Partner (McaaS Provider) will arrange about deployment, application and management service including supporting maintenance. McaaS also eliminate almost all upfront hardware and software investments and cutting unnecessary budget also upgrading control of budget with subscription-based opex model.

After Danny explained, few questions asked on question and answer session by participants of seminar. But because of limited time, Danny invites participants who interested to continue the talks on Soltius booth.
